Palmetto LightReach follows a "Freedom within the Framework" approach. Installers are free to sell and install in any location, so long as the customer's utility is on our approved list, using equipment from our AVL. Installers are responsible for following this and all other help.palmetto.finance guidelines.

Key Disclaimers:

  • Right to Exclude: LightReach reserves the right to exclude individual products from approved manufacturers based on quality considerations.

  • PV Module Warranty: See next section for systems approved for use in the Solar Access Program

  • Racking: See next section for systems approved for use in the Solar Access Program

  • Cellular: Systems should include cellular devices with 5 year data plans. If cellular service is confirmed unavailable, LightReach will review alternative communication methods on a case by case basis.

  • Consumption: Systems require whole home consumption monitoring.

  • Revenue Grade Metering: Inverters require revenue grade metering. Additional equipment may be required for production or consumption monitoring and reporting.

  • Manufacturer Specifications: All components used on site must follow manufacturer specifications, including (but not limited to) module compatibility with microinverters/optimizers used, string sizing, overcurrent limits, etc.

  • Approved Connectors: Module and PV wiring Connectors manufactured and listed as compatible with Staubli MC4 PV Connectors are the only components listed for use on Generac and LightReach projects. PR: Connector Guide

Current AVL: Installation of equipment not on the Approved Vendor List or without prior approval for your Relationship Manager with result in M1/M2 funding hold until the project is rectified with approved equipment.
